We often start projects from scratch and choose a modern stack of technologies based on project needs and preferences of our team.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 45px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Will Do<\/h2>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Implement automated test scenarios, mainly focused on API and UI testing.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the evolution and scalability of an existing Python-based test automation framework.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with domain experts and engineers to define effective test cases.<\/li>\n<li>Support the increase of automated test coverage across the platform.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quality and reliability as the product evolves and scales.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to future testing needs, including migration testing (as part of an ongoing system merge).<\/li>\n<li>Bring structure and best practices to test automation processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What We Expect<\/h2>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4+ years of experience in QA automation, preferably in product environments.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with Python (core requirement).<\/li>\n<li>Solid background in API test automation, with additional experience in UI testing as a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with tools such as Playwright, Apium, Jest, Cypress, or similar frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with CI\/CD pipelines (e.g., Git-based workflows) to enable continuous testing and deployment.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with TDD practices and different testing levels (unit, integration, E2E).<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of software development processes, architectures, and quality practices.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.<\/li>\n<li>Strong ownership and focus on building scalable and maintainable test automation.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous learning mindset, staying up to date with modern practices and leveraging AI-assisted tools across the development lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills in English is a must.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cactus is ready to expand the team with a QA Automation Engineer with a strong AI mindset.
